How it works

This practice is geared toward creating, maintaining, or enhancing areas both upland and wetland, for food and cover for wildlife. A variety of approaches can be incorporated into a wildlife management plan including establishing cover, prescribing burning, construction of structures to control water, building nesting areas, planting food plots, and other practices needed for desired species.
